D. William Heine

Areas of Practice

In addition to his work representing unions in litigation, arbitration and administrative proceedings, Mr. Heine has litigated employment cases in state and federal court, including a seven-week jury trial against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department on both Title VII and Fair Labor Standards Act claims. He has represented employee benefit funds in complex collection actions and withdrawal liability cases. Mr. Heine also specializes in political campaign finance law, especially as it applies to labor unions, and litigation over the unions' workers' and the public's free speech and privacy rights.
