Julie S. Alarcón, a graduate of UC Hastings College of the Law, is a labor and employment litigation associate with our firm.
In law school, Julie worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Carlos Vazquez for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and served as a litigation law clerk for Legal Aid at Work, ACLU Immigrant Rights’ Project, National Labor Relations Board (Region 21), California Attorney General’s Office, and Hastings Community Justice Clinics (Employment Law). Julie’s leadership while in law school is reflected in her pivotal roles as a founding member for Ms. JD at UC Hastings and Women of Color Initiative at UC Hastings. In 2015, Julie was selected as a Ms. JD National Fellow and was a Senior Notes Editor for the Constitutional Law Quarterly at Hastings.
Prior to joining the firm, Julie completed a fellowship with the AFL-CIO, Office of the General Counsel, in Washington, D.C. Julie worked on cases and regulatory matters that affect the labor movement and the rights of workers.
